It’s been a while since Dyzack released his last album Somewhere There’s A Monkey Laughing(in 2005). For a few years he focused completely on composing music for theatre productions, but the guitar virtuoso from The Hague is back with a new record titled This Mangy Soul. On the album, Dyzack tries to come to terms with the los of his father, who committed suicide at an age Dyzack is about to reach himself. He was inspired by a bizarre, recurring dream in which his father comes back to life after a medical procedure, but nothing is ever the same after that.
